THE WHAT? Neutrogena and World Surf League have announced a new partnership for the 2025 season. The Kenvue-owned brand will join the 2025 Championship Tour as the Official Suncare Partner of the Lexus Pipe Pro Presented by YETI.
THE DETAILS Neutrogena will also partner for the upcoming Trestles Pro and the US Open of Surfing with a focus on promoting sun safety for surfers, fans and beachgoers. The skin care brand announced its first surf ambassadors too: Caroline Marks and Kanoa Igarashi.
As part of the partnership, Neutrogena will also support WSL Rising Tides, a beachside engagement program designed to inspire the next generation of surfers.
THE WHY? Beauty brands are increasingly signing sports sponsorship deals and recruiting sporting ambassadors in a bid to tap into athletic audiences. Fernando Souza, Senior Director of Marketing for Neutrogena Sun, reveals, “Thirty-four percent of Americans admit that they rarely or never wear sunscreen. Neutrogena is proud to support the World Surf League’s efforts in educating athletes and surf fans alike on the importance of practicing sun safe habits.”
