This April, Join AWS for Stories, Events, and Special Promotions Celebrating Welding’s Power to Connect

The American Welding Society is pleased to announce this year’s National Welding Month theme: “Connected by Welding: Bridging Communities and Industries.” Since 1996, AWS has recognized April as National Welding Month, celebrating welding’s essential role in our world.

“National Welding Month is an opportunity to highlight the welding profession’s impact and inspire future generations to explore careers in our industry,” said Cassie Burrell, Vice President, Marketing, Communications & Strategy. “From training our workforce to building structures and products that keep the world moving, welding offers limitless possibilities for those ready to take up the torch.”

Throughout April, AWS will host special activities, social media campaigns, and exclusive promotions to engage welders, students, educators, and industry professionals.

Highlights of National Welding Month 2025
