Global manufacturing sector ends Q1 2025 on lacklustre footing: PMI
The global manufacturing sector ended Q1 2025 on a lacklustre footing. At 50.3 in March, the J.P. Morgan global manufacturing PMI was down from 50.6 in February and signalled only a slight improvement in overall operating conditions for the third month in a row. Business confidence fell to a three-month low. There was better news from the euro area and the Asia (excluding Japan) region.
