BASF commissions Germany’s largest PEM electrolyser

BASF has inaugurated Germany’s largest PEM electrolyser at Ludwigshafen, producing up to one metric ton of green hydrogen per hour. Built with Siemens Energy, it integrates into BASF’s production, reducing emissions by 72,000 tons annually.
