Euro area inflation falls to 2.3% in Feb 2025, EU at 2.7%: Eurostat
In February 2025, the euro area annual inflation rate decreased to 2.3 per cent from 2.5 per cent in January, while the EU's annual inflation rate declined to 2.7 per cent from 2.8 per cent. France recorded the lowest annual inflation at 0.9 per cent, whereas Hungary had the highest at 5.7 per cent. The largest contributor to the euro area inflation rate was the services sector, adding 1.66 pp points.
