Japan's clothing imports fell 6.9% to $1.7 bn in Feb 2025
Japan’s imports of clothing and accessories fell by 6.9 per cent to 265,663 million yen, while textile yarn and fabric imports declined by 6.3 per cent. However, exports of textile yarn and fabric grew by 12.7 per cent, and textile machinery exports rose by 7.3 per cent. In 2024, clothing imports increased by 3.5 per cent, but textile machinery exports dropped by 17.7 per cent.
