“Arrested Development” star Will Arnett has sold his $20.2 million Beverly Hills home to none other than Paris Hilton‘s brother-in-law—less than six weeks after putting it on the market.

The “30 Rock” actor, 54, listed his sprawling six-bedroom property for $22.5 million on Jan. 30, having paid $16.4 million for the home in 2021.

And it appears the property will maintain its celebrity status after being snapped up by entrepreneur Courtney Reum, brother of Hilton’s husband, Carter Reum. According to the Wall Street Journal, Reum plans to live in the home with his fiancée, Maggie Sellers.

Reum, who used to play professional soccer in Portugal, co-founded the venture capital firm M13 alongside his brother, who tied the knot with Hilton in November 2021.

However, when it came to his purchase of Arnett’s former home, Reum insisted that it was not the Hollywood cachet that initially drew him to the property, but rather the modern design and the convenient location.

Speaking to the Journal, he noted that the home is located just five minutes away from his mother and his sibling, adding that the property will serve as the first that he and his fiancée have shared.

However, rather than turning to Hilton or his brother for advice on whether the property purchase was right for himself and Sellers, Reum instead went down a very different route, contacting a medium who claims she can communicate with spirits.

He told the Journal that the medium told them: “I see you guys getting married under the olive trees at the house.”

“Not that that’s what guided me, but some things are too weird to make up,” Reum said of the medium’s prediction—which has ultimately proven to be right on the money, with the businessman revealing that he and Sellers plan to say “I do” at their new home on Aug. 28.

Certainly, the property will provide a picture-perfect backdrop for any wedding photos.

The home measures over 10,000 square feet and boasts wood panel walls, wooden beams on the ceiling, and a sophisticated color wave.

The expansive living room features a marble fireplace and ceiling-to-floor glass doors that slide open and reveal the stunning backyard.

The kitchen follows the same oak theme and boasts a minimalist design along with a marble island.

The property includes a theater room and office space, making it the perfect oasis for homeowners to lounge and work.

The 10,300-square-foot opulent abode was quickly snapped up by entrepreneur Courtney Reum, who will live in the property with his fiancee, Maggie Sellers, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Arnett spent millions renovating the property after purchasing it in 2021 and even added a sound booth for his voice-over and podcast work.

Listing agent Richard Ehrlich, of Carolwood Estates, told the Journal that Arnett received many offers, adding that well-priced homes are getting snapped up extremely quickly.

Meanwhile, Reum’s brother currently owns multiple properties with his wife—including one Malibu beach house that was destroyed in the California wildfires in January.

That three-bedroom home, which offered just under 3,000 square feet of living space, was located in a jaw-dropping spot on La Costa beach, on the side of the Pacific Coast Highway, which was obliterated by the fires as they spread from the Palisades through Santa Monica and Malibu.

Hilton and Reum bought the property in June 2021, two years before they welcomed son Phoenix in January 2023 and daughter London in November of that same year.

However, the duo were not thought to have been living in the home when the fires began tearing through the Palisades, Malibu, and Santa Monica, having relocated to a property in Beverly Hills after their son was born.

The 14,000-square-foot estate, which is located in the gated community of Beverly Park, is not thought to have been affected by the fires. However, it’s understood that Hilton and Reum do not actually own the home, instead opting for a long-term rental for the staggering price of $160,000 a month.

It is not currently known whether Hilton and Reum have plans to buy the property and use it as their permanent family residence. However, the heiress has been vocal about her love of the sprawling mansion.

In a 2023 episode of her podcast, “I Am Paris,” she said that it felt like the perfect place for them to raise their kids, while her husband waxed lyrical about the many amenities the house offers.
