Tariff war to lead to lower growth, jobs, higher inflation: S&P Global

The economic impact of the 25-per cent tariffs on goods imports from Canada and Mexico (except autos and Canadian oil and gas) will be much smaller for the US than for the former two, S&P Global Ratings thinks. It said the US-instigated tariffs and trading partner counter-tariffs will lead to across-the-board lower GDP growth, higher unemployment rates and higher inflation.
