Canada, Mexico, China retaliate to Trump’s tariff measures
As the 25-per cent US tariffs on Canadian and Mexican imports take effect today, Canada announced 25-per cent tariffs on $107 billion worth of US goods, with $20.7 billion in immediate effect, and Mexico said it is preparing countermeasures. China also announced 15-per cent tariffs on US chicken, wheat, corn and cotton, plus 10-per cent tariffs on soybeans, pork, beef and dairy beginning March 10.
