THE WHAT? Dove has announced the launch of its first facial range in Brazil. The Dove Regenerative line is said to ‘democratise’ dermocosmetics with its affordable price tag and premium ingredients such as niacinamide and retinyl propionate.
THE DETAILS Dove Regenerative has been created with Brazil’s racially diverse population in mind and has been tested on more than 100 different Brazilian skin tones.
THE WHY? Dove said that demand for dermocosmetics is rocketing – the market is currently valued at €8 billion and accounts for 24 percent of the skin care sector. With a CAGR of 10.5 percent, the category is expected to represent 38 percent of all skin care sales by 2030, with Brazil among the key markets.
Luana Pereira, Dove Face Comms Lead, reveals, “We saw an opportunity to land an affordable skin care range that’s backed by cutting-edge science with premium ingredients, and democratises access to this type of product.”
