Vinted is launching a luxury fashion wardrobe online, featuring curated designer pieces from fashion creators including Susie Lau, Victoria Magrath, Simran Randhawa, Giulia Valentina and Keiona Revlon.

The wardrobe, dubbed ‘House of Vinted’, goes live from 6pm today (25 March), with the online marketplace’s members able to buy designer items from brands such as The Row, Prada, Gucci, Maison Margiela, and Jacquemus.

Many of its key pieces will come directly from the personal wardrobes of some of fashion’s favourite creators, according to the retailer. Part of the proceeds from the wardrobe’s sale will donated to Oxfam.

The wardrobes were previewed to Vinted members in London last weekend as part of the brand’s first ‘in real life’ luxury event.

The House of Vinted, located in the city’s The Adria hotel was open to the retailer’s members by invitation only from 22 March.

The themes of the wardrobes have been based off the styles of the creators involved, as well as Vinted data which showed there was a rising trend for search terms including art deco, gingham, vintage, scandi, statement piece, puff sleeves and cable-knit sweaters.

Vinted creative director Emma Sullivan said: “Following our ‘House of Vinted’ showcase in London this weekend, from today Vinted members across the UK will be able to shop items from the specially curated wardrobes seen at the event.

“I am excited for our members to share in the joy that comes from buying and selling luxury second-hand fashion.”

Vinted joins Ebay UK in honing in on luxury, with the ecommerce giant launching a luxury consignment service with Luxe Collective in September.

In July, John Lewis also launched its first range of pre-loved designer handbags and expanded its second-hand jewellery collection online, in partnership with luxury reseller Sign of The Times.
