UK’s clothing imports decline 7% to $18.3 bn in 2024
In 2024, the UK's clothing imports decreased by 7.06 per cent year-on-year to £14.612 billion (~$18.394 billion). Despite a monthly decline from November, December saw a 12.30 per cent increase in clothing imports compared to the same month in 2023. Overall, the textile sector experienced declines in fabric and fibre imports throughout the year.
