UK scientists develop ‘smart pyjamas’ to monitor sleep disorders

Researchers from the University of Cambridge have developed smart pyjamas with embedded fabric sensors that monitor sleep disorders, such as sleep apnoea, by detecting breathing patterns. Using a lightweight AI algorithm, they achieve 98.6 per cent accuracy in identifying sleep states. These comfortable, washable pyjamas allow for at-home monitoring.
