Space NK to open largest store outside of London in Birmingham
Space NK is set to open its largest store outside London, located in Bullring Birmingham.

Space NK is set to open its largest store outside London in Birmingham’s Bullring Shopping centre as part of its ongoing UK expansion plans.
Scheduled to open this summer, the beauty retailer’s 84th store will span 4356 sq ft across two levels.
Space NK said the new store will include a dedicated consultation area for makeup and skincare, alongside play tables so that customers can take a seat either independently or with a member of the team to discover new products.
Space NK CEO Andy Lightfoot said: “Our Birmingham community have been very vocal about their wish for us to return to Birmingham and we are delighted to have secured a location in Bullring, our biggest store outside of London.
“This will be our first stand-alone store in the city centre, and an opportunity for customers to shop 100’s of the world’s best beauty brands and receive expert advice from our in-store team.”
Hammerson director of leasing & commercialisation Paul O’Brien said: “Bullring and Grand Central continues to be the place to go for health and beauty in Birmingham.
“Hammerson’s strategy of creating best-in-class spaces for international brands seeking a flagship presence in destinations that out-perform is evidenced by Space NK’s decision to open their largest store outside the capital.”
At the start of the month, Space NK also unveiled plans to open a new central London store on the city’s iconic Oxford Street.
The 4600sq ft store at 214 Oxford Circus will feature the retailer’s new purpose-built beauty experience concept and stock its range of luxury beauty and skincare brands.
