OMV & ADNOC form global polyolefin giant, acquire Nova for $13.4 bn
OMV and ADNOC will merge Borealis and Borouge into Borouge Group International and acquire Nova Chemicals for $13.4 billion, creating the fourth-largest global polyolefin group. Borouge 4 will be added in 2026 for $7.5 billion. The new entity, headquartered in Vienna, will target $7 billion annual EBITDA, strong synergies, and a dual ADX/ATX listing, with equal governance by OMV and ADNOC.
