In the heart of Miami Beach’s exclusive South of Fifth neighborhood, a new sanctuary of French culinary artistry has taken root. Conceived by The Group Hospitality, La Grande Boucherie Miami draws its inspiration from the legendary Oasis Party of 1920 hosted by Paul Poiret and his wife, Denise Boulet. This opulent event, a celebration of art, fashion, and culture, has been reimagined in the lush, verdant setting of this new venture. The space, co-designed by Legeard Studio and Emil Stefkov, respects the historical significance of its 1938 Art Deco building by Henry Hohauser, blending the era’s elegance with the artistic and cultural vibrancy of Poiret’s gatherings.
Emil Stefkov, founder of The Group Hospitality, shares his vision for this new locale: “We are thrilled to bring La Grande Boucherie to Miami’s South of Fifth neighborhood, offering a unique fusion of an indulgent steakhouse with the timeless charm of a refined Parisian brasserie. This new venture marks a significant milestone for The Group Hospitality as we step into the Magic City, known for its vibrant culture and world-class gastronomy.”

Upon entering through a garden courtyard adorned with bistro tables and an array of blooming flora, guests are greeted by an atmosphere of tranquil elegance. The interior continues this theme with a grand bar featuring polished brass and marble, a nod to Boucherie’s signature style. The main dining area exudes the classic brasserie ambiance with subway-tiled walls, mosaic floors, and French antiques, creating a space where the craftsmanship of early 20th-century Paris comes alive.
Ascending to the upper level, the ambiance shifts to a more intimate and seductive setting, reminiscent of Denise Boulet’s exotic soirées, with jewel-toned wallpapers, rich fabrics, and views over the vibrant courtyard. Here, private dining rooms offer a secluded retreat, perfect for those seeking a more personal dining experience.

Helming the kitchen is Executive Chef Leonardo Pablo, whose culinary journey has taken him from Jean-Georges to the helm of Miami’s UPLAND and beyond. At La Grande Boucherie, Chef Pablo introduces a menu that celebrates French gastronomy through high-quality prime cuts, bistro classics, and a fresh, local seafood selection unique to Miami. From the Filet Mignon Au Poivre to the exotic Mediterranean octopus, each dish is a testament to the farm-to-table ethos, emphasizing local sourcing for both flavor and sustainability.

The beverage program is equally impressive, featuring an extensive selection of French wines, alongside unique American varieties, and cocktails that reflect the eclectic taste of Poiret, infused with tropical and exotic notes.
La Grande Boucherie marks another milestone for The Group Hospitality, which has been curating culinary experiences since the opening of Olio e Più in 2010. With this new chapter in Miami, they continue their tradition of transforming iconic spaces into cultural hubs that not only serve exquisite cuisine but also foster community and celebration.
