Folks are very concerned about their loans. Those who don’t have choices, I don’t know how it’s going to affect them. I know for the students who have options, very few are going to consider these firms anymore.
— Bryce Tuttle, a second-year student at Stanford Law School, in comments given to Bloomberg Law, on how law students are navigating their job offers with firms that have made deals with the Trump administration. Tuttle said that while students won’t specifically decline offers from those firms, they’re “considering trying to find alternative options.” Tuttle has accepted an offer from Selendy Gay, and he’s happy the firm signed an amicus brief supporting Perkins Coie.
