THE WHAT? The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) participated in the 5th China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) in Hainan, marking its fifth consecutive appearance at the event. The company presented its portfolio of prestige beauty brands with a strong focus on scientific innovation and localized consumer experiences.

THE DETAILS  The ELC pavilion featured 14 of its brands, including Estée Lauder, Clinique, La Mer, Tom Ford Beauty and MAC Cosmetics, highlighting key skin care, makeup, fragrance, and hair care offerings. A new Innovation Zone debuted at this year’s expo, offering an interactive look at R&D-driven advances, including Estée Lauder’s Chronolux peptide, La Mer’s Rejuvenating Night Cream, and Clinique’s AI-powered skin analysis tool, Clinique Reality 9.0.

Dedicated zones explored brand-specific technologies in night repair, luxury fragrance, and dermatological skin care. The space also introduced makeup formulations tailored to Chinese consumers’ complexion needs and preferences.

THE WHY? ELC’s presence at CICPE underscores its ongoing investment in China’s beauty market, particularly through the fast-growing Hainan travel retail channel.
