MMC procures crystalliser plant to produce battery-grade manganese material
Manganese producer and exporter Manganese Metal Company (MMC) has awarded crystallisation and evaporation plant and systems provider JordProxa Africa a contract to supply it with a crystalliser plant to produce battery-grade high-purity manganese sulphate monohydrate (HPMSM) in Mbombela, Mpumalanga. This follows engagements spanning the past few years and an intensive collaborative effort, which included extensive laboratory testwork and conceptual engineering, over the past nine months.
