American rapper and songwriter Megan Thee Stallion is the latest celebrity to launch a Tequila with her new Chicas Divertidas brand, timing its debut to coincide with her 30th birthday.
Three-time Grammy Award-winning hip hop artist Megan Thee Stallion has debuted her new Chicas Divertidas Tequila brand with two expressions — Blanco and Reposado.
The American rapper, whose hits include Savage and Girls in the Hood, released her new offerings for pre-order on 15 February, timing the launch to coincide with her 30th birthday.
The Tequila is crafted from single-source, 100% Blue Weber agave, harvested from the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. Chicas Divertidas Tequila has been produced at Casa Centinela (NOM 1140), a distillery with a history dating back to 1904.
Megan Thee Stallion, who calls her fandom the 'Hotties', said of the new brand: “As someone who values good vibes and great memories, I knew I wanted to create a Tequila that was designed to be shared and savoured with my Hotties."
She noted that the process to launch her own Tequila brand "has been years in the making".
"I'm so proud to take this next step in my journey as an entrepreneur and launch this brand," she said. "I know the Hotties are ready, it’s time to give them a drink made by me. I’m excited to share this labour of love with you all and hope you are inspired to enter your chicas era."
Chicas Divertidas Blanco and Reposado are sold in 750ml bottles at 40% ABV. They are being released for pre-order at ChicasDivertidasTequila.com and ReserveBar.com beginning 15 February 2025, and will be offered in limited quantities at select US retailers, with a SRP of US$70.00 and $80.00 respectively.
