THE DETAILS According to a report published by Reuters, the French beauty giant has witnessed ‘encouraging signs’ that indicate a return to growth for the country; the forecast is also in line with China’s predicted GDP growth for the year.
THE WHY? Boinay said at a conference in Shanghai, per Reuters, “We are seeing encouraging signs in these early days of 2025. The numbers are getting better and the target of 5 percent is not only the target for Chinese growth this year but also the target of L’Oreal in China.”
