THE WHAT? L’Oreal China has launched its 2025 Big Bang Beauty Tech Innovation Program. This year’s edition is centred around the theme of ‘Elevate the Innovation Game for the Future’. The program has broadened its reach throughout North Asia, encouraging start-ups in the region to accelerate their innovation efforts.
THE DETAILS Launched in 2020, the program has engaged over 2,200 start-ups and SMEs over the past five years, incubating over 60 market-ready projects.
In the 2025 Mainland China challenge Big Bang continues to collaborate with the Oriental Beauty Valley, Business France, and Shanghai Meicifang Investment.
THE WHY? Vincent Boinay, President of L’Oréal North Asia and CEO of L’Oréal China, explains, “We are enhancing and unlocking the full potential of China’s open innovation ecosystem.
