THE DETAILS According to a report published by WWD, the process could take up to a year to complete and staff are rumored to have been laid off back in February.
THE WHY? A source ‘close to the business’ told WWD that the pandemic and heightened competition in the clean beauty arena had negatively affected the brand. Per the article, the brand struggled to differentiate itself from other beauty brands once ‘no nasties’ became the prevailing trend.
