Ahead, we got an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at her first-ever Dior show during Paris Fashion Week to discover how she preps and some of her must-have products. For Crane-Leroux, fashion week transcends beyond the fashion: “Fashion week is such a whirlwind, but what I love most is how it brings together artistry, culture, and personal expression. It’s not just about the clothes—it’s about storytelling, craftsmanship, and creativity. Also, no trip to Paris is complete without wandering through the streets, finding inspiration in the architecture, stopping at local markets, and indulging in the simple pleasure of a buttery croissant!”

HAUTE LIVING: Can you walk us through your getting ready routine before the show?
CHLOÉ CRANE-LEROUX: This was my first-ever Dior show, and I was feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. I wanted to be fully present for every second, so I gave myself plenty of time to ease into the day. I woke up early, made my matcha, and just let myself take it all in—because when does a first like this ever happen again? To keep my energy calm, I started with skincare prep—eye patches, gua sha, and a face massage, all while listening to a fun playlist to set the mood. It was my little ritual before the real excitement began.
Once the makeup artist arrived, we went for a natural, glowy look to balance out my bold outfit. It felt effortless yet polished—just the right amount of refinement without taking away from the overall look. As for hair—there was none! The headpiece I was wearing was an extension of my shirt, making it a statement in itself.

I gave myself four hours to get ready, which sounds like a lot, but it meant zero stress and all the time to just enjoy the process. By the time I arrived an hour and a half early at the venue, I had time to take photos, soak in the atmosphere, and truly be in the moment.
Walking into the show, I felt that mix of excitement and disbelief—like, is this actually happening?! But more than anything, I felt grateful. Grateful to be there, grateful to experience something so special, and grateful that I took the time to slow down and really take it all in.

HL: What do you do to prep for fashion week?
CCL: Fashion week is all about balance. It’s exciting and fast-paced, so I try to prioritize hydration, good sleep (when possible), and energizing meals. Leading up to it, I focus on skincare—masks, gua sha, and extra hydration—so my skin looks its best. I also curate outfits in advance, ensuring they reflect my style while being practical for long days. And, of course, I pack my essentials: comfortable yet chic shoes, a great bag, and beauty touch-up products.
HL: Do you have any favorite Dior Beauty products?
CCL: Absolutely! The Dior Forever Skin Perfect Stick is my holy grail—I can’t go a day without it. It’s perfect for quick touch-ups, has a creamy yet lightweight texture, and blends seamlessly for a flawless finish. I also love the Dior Lip Glow Oil for a hydrated, naturally tinted lip. And for fragrance, Miss Dior is always a classic.

HL: What were your favorite looks from the Dior show?
CCL: There were so many stunning pieces, but I especially loved the structured tailoring mixed with soft, flowing fabrics—it felt both powerful and romantic. The intricate embroidery and rich textures were breathtaking, and the muted yet luxurious color palette was so elegant. And, of course, the accessories—the bags, the gloves, the delicate yet statement-making jewelry—were everything.
HL: Favorite restaurants in Paris?
CCL: Le Bleu Bao is an ncredible Chinese flavors in an elegant yet cozy setting. Les Deux Magots, which is a classic Parisian café where history, literature, and culture come together. It’s perfect for people-watching over a café crème and a tartine. Also, Le Petit Lutetia, a charming, quintessentially Parisian bistro with impeccable service and a warm, inviting atmosphere. And finally, Bamboo, which is a stunning Thai restaurant with bold flavors and a chic, vibrant ambiance—perfect for a night out.
