JD Sports: the Exclusive Retail Partner to Activate Nike DN8 Launch

The unique retail experience was hosted exclusively at JD's flagship store in Times Square, showcasing the innovative spirit of Nike's Air Max line through dynamic and immersive installations. "Maxxed Out" Nike launched the Air Max Dn8 last week with its global campaign "Maxxed Out." As part of the initial launch on March 6th, JD was the only wholesale partner to host an elevated Nike Dn8 Maxxed Out retail experience, with other elevated experiences available only at select Nike Direct locations. JD will also be launching an exclusive color of the Dn8 in April. Starting at the main window, JD brought four mechanical "experiments" to life, inviting customers into an elevated shop-in-shop experience at the center of the store. Visual nods to the Dn8 and Air Max concepts immersed visitors in the world of Dn8, featuring flight cages, footwear pedestals, mannequins styled head-to-toe and an interactive experiment that inflated an airbag around the shoe. As consumers moved to the second floor, they encountered Dn8 tickers and entered another elevated zone designed to inspire complete head-to-toe shopping experiences with additional mannequin styling and an elevated footwear presentation.
