German industrial production down 2.4% MoM in Dec after adjustments
Production in the German industry in real terms was down by 2.4 per cent month on month (MoM) in December last year after price, seasonal and calendar adjustment, according to provisional official data. This was the lowest drop since May 2020. It was down by 3.1 per cent YoY in the month after adjustment for calendar effects, and down 0.9 per cent quarter on quarter in Q4 2024.
