Global total air cargo demand up 3.2% in Jan 2025: IATA
Total global air cargo demand rose by 3.2 per cent YoY in January this year (3.6 per cent for international operations) for the eighteenth consecutive month of growth, according to the International Air Transport Association. Capacity increased by 6.8 per cent YoY in the month (7.3 per cent for international operations). Asia-Pacific airlines saw a 7.5-per cent YoY demand growth in January.
