Andrew Antiles always knew he was destined for the stock market. At just eight years old, while other kids were dreaming of becoming astronauts or athletes, Andrew was absorbing lessons about financial markets from his father, Seth Antiles, a hedge fund trader. Watching his father navigate the global financial crisis of 2008 and lead one of the best-performing asset management funds in the country left a lasting impression. That early exposure planted the seed for what would become a remarkable journey.
By the age of 17, Andrew had turned his $5,000 savings into $20,000 in just seven weeks. Fueled by this early success, he convinced his parents to let him use his Bar Mitzvah gift money to trade. Within six months, he had transformed the initial $15,000 into $70,000. Yet, as meteoric as his rise was, his fall was just as dramatic. Overconfidence and a lack of risk management led him to lose everything—down to just 47 cents in his account.
But Andrew’s story didn’t end there. After facing both financial and personal setbacks, including severe injuries from his time playing junior hockey, Andrew decided to start over. Delivering food for DoorDash, he used his time on the road to devour podcasts on personal development and trading. Humbled by his previous losses, Andrew leaned on his father’s mentorship and adopted a disciplined approach centered around risk management. Instead of chasing shortcuts, he committed to building wealth steadily and sustainably.
Within six months, Andrew was earning between $3,000 and $10,000 per month trading the S&P 500 ETF (SPY). By the time he entered college, he was trading for just an hour a day while maintaining a 3.9 GPA, playing college hockey, and earning up to $30,000 per month.
In 2020, Andrew founded Graystone Trading, a platform dedicated to teaching everyday people how to create an additional income stream through disciplined, risk-managed trading. Today, Graystone has helped over 3,000 students achieve financial independence.
“Trading isn’t about fancy indicators or quick riches,” Andrew explains. “It’s about consistency and managing risk. That’s the key to creating wealth.”
Andrew’s story is one of resilience, humility, and reinvention. From teenage dreams of being a millionaire to building a platform that empowers others, he’s proving that the stock market isn’t just for Wall Street—it’s for everyone.
In addition to trading and business success, Andrew is also embracing new chapters in his personal life. Recently married and living in Miami, he is committed to building a meaningful life rooted in his Orthodox Jewish faith. Alongside his business aspirations, he looks forward to deepening his relationship with G-d, cherishing time with his family, and strengthening the bonds with those he holds dear.
