Rosemary’s Miami has officially opened its doors in the heart of Wynwood, bringing a beloved Italian neighborhood dining experience from New York City to South Florida. This much-anticipated launch marks an exciting milestone for Casa Nela hospitality group founder Carlos Suarez, who has a personal connection to Miami, having spent nearly two decades calling the city home.

The essence of Rosemary’s has always been about comfort, a place where guests can take a break from their busy lives and indulge in thoughtfully crafted dishes that are both delicious and affordable. Inspired by the rustic charm of the Italian countryside, Rosemary’s Miami perfectly blends sustainability, great design, and an inviting atmosphere to create a unique dining destination.

The restaurant’s location at 322 NW 25th Street was once a simple, single-story shoe warehouse, but it has been transformed into a lush, open-air oasis that exudes the warmth and elegance of a Tuscan villa. The adjacent empty lot has been repurposed into a vibrant urban farm, further reinforcing the restaurant’s commitment to sustainability and locally sourced ingredients.

With al fresco dining as a focal point, guests can enjoy their meals surrounded by fresh herbs, vegetables, and flowers that are grown on-site. This connection between the land and the plate is a hallmark of Rosemary’s philosophy, ensuring that every dish bursts with the freshest flavors.

At the helm of Rosemary’s Miami is Executive Chef Craig Giunta, whose impressive culinary background includes work at acclaimed establishments such as Mother Wolf, Concours Club, and Macchialina. Chef Giunta takes full advantage of the restaurant’s urban garden, incorporating homegrown ingredients into nearly every dish. From fragrant rosemary and fennel to vibrant kumquats and key limes, these fresh elements elevate the menu and celebrate Miami’s natural bounty.

The menu is an ode to Rosemary’s deep-rooted connection to the land, highlighting seasonal vegetables, handmade pastas, and fresh seafood. Guests can savor classic Italian flavors through a variety of focaccia and beloved house specialties such as Eggplant Caponata with roasted vegetables, pine nuts, and agrodolce.

The Orecchiette with house-made sausage, broccoli rabe, Fresno chili, and Parmigiano is another must-try dish, delivering a perfect balance of bold flavors. Exclusive to the Miami location, the Crudo of bluefin tuna, seasonal citrus, fennel, coriander, and basil showcases the region’s abundant seafood offerings.

Diners can also enjoy Linguini with Florida Rock Shrimp, lemon, bomba chilis, and garlic, as well as Heritage Porchetta with zucchini salad and Calabrian date hot sauce. To conclude the meal on a sweet note, desserts include the ever-popular Olive Oil Cake, indulgent Tiramisu, and Bombolini with Nutella crema, offering a delightful finish to an exceptional dining experience.

To complement the food, Rosemary’s Miami features a creative cocktail list that includes Italian spritzes, zero-proof libations, and innovative twists on classic drinks. The carefully curated wine list focuses on Italian varietals, perfectly paired with the rich, comforting flavors of the menu. Whether guests are seeking a refreshing aperitivo or a bold red to accompany their meal, the beverage selection enhances the overall dining experience.

Beyond the cuisine, Rosemary’s is a tribute to family and heritage. The restaurant is named after Carlos Suarez’s mother, honoring her love for home-cooked meals and the vegetable garden she nurtures in Lucca, Italy. This deep sense of nostalgia and warmth is woven into every detail of Rosemary’s Miami, creating an atmosphere that feels like an extension of a family dining room.

The restaurant’s design, executed by NYC-based Dekar Design, reflects this vision by blending rustic farmhouse charm with modern elegance. Spanning 7,000 square feet, the space is designed to feel both welcoming and refined, offering guests a cozy yet stylish environment to gather and enjoy a meal.

Rosemary’s commitment to sustainability extends beyond the menu. The restaurant’s on-site urban garden, developed in collaboration with Little River Cooperative, plays a crucial role in shaping the culinary offerings. By growing its own citrus, herbs, and vegetables, Rosemary’s minimizes its environmental footprint while ensuring the highest quality ingredients for its guests.

This farm-to-table approach not only enhances the flavor of the dishes but also reinforces the restaurant’s dedication to responsible sourcing and community engagement. Located in Miami’s vibrant Wynwood neighborhood, Rosemary’s Miami is poised to become a go-to destination for those seeking an authentic and elevated Italian dining experience.
