Easpring Finland starts construction of Kotka CAM plant
Easpring Finland plans to begin construction of its Kotka CAM plant in April 2025, aiming for commercial production in 2027. The $860.22 million project, backed by Beijing Easpring (70 per cent) and Finnish Minerals Group (30 per cent), will start with a 60,000-tonne annual capacity, employing 270 people. Supplying European EV battery makers, the plant will support ~750,000 EVs per year at full capacity.
