Chinese nationals detained for alleged trespass at Lindian rare earths project in Malawi
Australia-based Lindian Resources said on Tuesday that two Chinese nationals were among a group of individuals detained by authorities for allegedly trespassing and attempting to collect geological samples at the company’s Kangankunde rare earths project in Malawi. Confirming several media reports, Lindian said in a statement that it considered the incident to be a “serious breach of site security and a concerning act of industrial trespass”.
