THE DETAILS According to a report published by Fox Business, quoting an internal memo, the US retailer cut the ribbon on a 350-acre campus in Bentonville last month. The company said it would provide affected employees with relocation support or severance.
THE WHY? Walmart Chief People Officer, Donna Morris, said in the memo, per Fox Business, “We are making these changes to put key capabilities together, encouraging speed and shared understanding. Through this review process, we have eliminated some roles as we streamline how we work.”
