Vinted teams up with Alexa Chung to sell her designer wardrobe
Alexa Chung has teamed up with second-hand fashion platform Vinted to sell a curated selection of luxury items from her personal wardrobe.

Fashion icon Alexa Chung has teamed up with second-hand fashion platform Vinted to sell a curated selection of luxury items from her personal wardrobe.
The exclusive sale, which will only be available to Vinted members in the UK, goes live on May 4, 2025, with all proceeds from the sale being donated to Endometriosis UK.
The sale will feature a range of high-end pieces, including items from brands such as Prada, JW Anderson, Khaite, Magda Butrym, and Galvan London.
The Lithuanian marketplace said notable items include a Miu Miu embroidered bralette and a vintage 1930s coral silk dress that Chung wore at Paris Fashion Week.
Chung, a long-time advocate of sustainable fashion, said “The Dries Van Noten silver trainers are very hard to say goodbye to, as are the Saint Laurent patent black flats, which go with so many different things. I’m also selling a pink Gucci bag, which I already slightly regret. But I am doing the clear out with Vinted because my style is evolving.
“These items carry so many memories and we had great times together but now it is time to kiss them goodbye and the idea that they can live on in someone else’s wardrobe and be new again to them is very appealing.”
“I think there’s something so romantic about connecting to another era through what we wear. The idea that you can repurpose and bring a new attitude to something that was made for another time and another context, I find the concept of trends coming back around and evolving each time weirdly comforting amidst the current chaos.
“And it’s so nice to wear something unique that nobody else can buy, unless they’re treasure hunters like you.”
The sale follows Vinted’s recent push into the luxury resale market, which includes the launch of its ‘House of Vinted’ initiative.
The platform has been working with fashion creators such as Susie Lau and Victoria Magrath to curate and sell designer pieces, with a portion of proceeds donated to charity.
Vinted is also expanding its luxury offerings with a second drop of items from brands like Dior and Loewe planned for June 2025.
CEO Adam Jay said: “Alexa Chung is a global style icon and we are super excited to be partnering with her. Vinted members will be able to see her fabulous wardrobe and have the opportunity to buy from it. At Vinted we love to connect our community with unique luxury pieces that have a backstory, making them accessible and affordable to all.”
Last year the marketplace made a profit for the first time following a “strong” year of growth.
The Lithuanian business made a net profit of €18m last year versus a loss of €20m in 2022. Sales surged 61% year on year to reach €596.3m.
