US Upland cotton sales down 11%, Pima drops 68% this week: USDA
US net sales of Upland cotton for 2024–25 fell 11 per cent weekly and 22 per cent from the four-week average, totalling 115,100 RB. Vietnam, Turkiye, and Thailand were top buyers. Export shipments declined 4 per cent to 377,200 RB. Pima sales dropped 68 per cent to 2,700 RB, with India leading purchases. Shipments of Pima fell 44 per cent to 8,000 RB.
