US Upland cotton net sales dropped 49 per cent to 104,000 bales for the week ending April 17, 2025, with notable reductions from key buyers. Shipments also declined by 11 per cent. In contrast, Pima cotton sales rose significantly week-on-week to 5,800 bales, although still 31 per cent below the four-week average. Exports of Pima surged 41 per cent, led by strong demand from India and Peru.
