US' textiles & apparel imports rise 9.8% to $18 bn in Jan-Feb 2025

US textile and apparel imports rose by 9.80 per cent to $18.070 billion in January–February 2025, driven by an 11.21 per cent increase in apparel imports. China remained the top supplier, followed by Vietnam. Imports from Jordan, Bangladesh, and India saw strong growth. Man-made fibre products led the category. In contrast, shipments from Turkiye, Italy, and South Korea declined during the period.
