US’ Owens Corning sells glass reinforcements business for $755 mn
Owens Corning is selling its glass reinforcements business to India’s Praana Group for $755 million, aligning with its strategy to focus on building products in North America and Europe. The business, with $1.1 billion in 2024 revenue, spans 18 sites across 12 countries. The deal, set to close in 2025 pending approvals, strengthens Praana’s position in glass fibre reinforcements.
