US’ industrial textile imports grow to $3.1 bn, exports decline
In 2024, US industrial textile imports rose 4.57 per cent, while exports declined 3.43 per cent. Mexico was both the largest supplier and market. Key import categories included technical textile products and coated fabrics, with top suppliers being Mexico, China, and Canada. The leading export category was coated textile fabric, with Mexico and Canada as the primary destinations.
