UK businesses brace for fallout as US imposes 10% tariffs: Survey
Sixty-two per cent of UK firms trading with the US anticipate negative effects from newly imposed US tariffs; 20 per cent foresee significant harm, while 42 per cent expect some detriment, according to a survey by BCC. In response, 15 per cent plan to seek alternative suppliers, 13 per cent intend to absorb additional costs, and 36 per cent will take no immediate action.
