Total UK retail sales up 2.6% YoY in Jan 2025: BRC
UK retail sales rose by 2.6 per cent YoY in January against a YoY growth of 1.2 per cent in January 2024, the BRC said. Non-food sales rose by 2.5 per cent YoY in the month against a 2.8-per cent drop in January 2024. Non-food sales online and in store rose by 2.2 per cent and 2.6 per cent YoY respectively in the month compared to drops of 4.2 per cent and 2 per cent in January 2024.
