This month, the iconic Wooster boutique in SoHo is transformed into a Gucci sneaker haven with the launch of a vibrant new installation. This temporary exhibit redefines the retail experience, immersing visitors in a world where fashion meets art through an array of men’s and women’s sneakers set against a backdrop of fluorescent pink, harmoniously blending with the store’s contemporary aesthetics.

At the heart of this visual feast are several key styles from Gucci’s latest collections. Leading the pack is the Gucci Cub3d, a marvel from the Spring/Summer 2025 runway under the creative direction of Sabato De Sarno, initially showcased during Milano Design Week. This sneaker exemplifies Gucci’s commitment to innovation with its upper crafted from Demetra, a sustainable material composed of 70% plant-based elements. Its sole, molded with the historic Interlocking G, offers a three-dimensional flair, available in an enticing palette of purple, beige, grey, white, and black, each color embodying the spirit of modern luxury.
Complementing the Cub3d is the Gucci Re-Web, a silhouette that nods to the brand’s storied past while stepping boldly into the present. As the first sneaker conceptualized by De Sarno for Gucci, the Re-Web merges heritage with innovation, featuring variations from all-leather to combinations with GG canvas, merino wool-effect fabric, and even crystal appliqué, showcasing a versatility in material and color that speaks to Gucci’s eclectic fashion narrative.
