President Trump is making life difficult for his party by demanding they pass huge tax reductions without cutting any of the major government spending programs, including Medicaid.
Trump wants to make his 2017 tax cuts, which expire this year, permanent and enact new tax cuts. He wants to stop taxing tips and overtime pay, lower taxes on companies that manufacture in the United States, and reduce taxes on Social Security benefits.
On Wednesday, he again demanded that Republicans in Congress pass his “FULL America First Agenda, EVERYTHING,” in “ONE BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL.”
