Sainsbury reports $33 bn sales, targets $1.24 bn profit next fiscal
UK’s Sainsbury has reported £26.6 billion (~$33.0 billion) in sales (excluding fuel) for FY2024–25, up 4.2 per cent YoY, with strong Q4 momentum across brands. Retail operating profit rose 7.2 per cent to £1,036 million (~$1,284.64 million), while PAT surged 77 per cent. Clothing sales grew 2.9 per cent. For FY2025–26, Sainsbury expects continued growth of £1 billion (~$1.24 billion) profit.
