Roll out digital € considering peoples’ concerns: EU Parliament to ECB
European Parliament members recently debated their central bank’s (ECB) priorities with bank president Christine Lagarde and suggested the latter to do more to stem inflation and ensure that any digital euro rollout considers citizens’ concerns. For the first time, they asked the ECB to draft a Geopolitics Plan 2025-2030 to understand better the implications of war and conflict on price stability.
