Redox Flow Batteries
An all-aqueous, membrane-free Zn–Mn redox flow battery utilizing deposition chemistry could be a promising alternative to conventional aqueous redox flow systems. Since it uses a combined electrolyte in which the catholyte and anolyte are mixed, issues affecting both the cathode and anode can be addressed simultaneously with simple addition of aspartic acid additive.
