QVC to transform into livestream shopping company; appoints Chief Growth Officer

THE WHAT? QVC Group has announced the appointment of Alex Wellen as President & Chief Growth Officer, effective immediately. He joins from MotorTrend Group where he served as CEO and President.

THE DETAILS In his new role, Wellen is charged with defining and leading QVC Group’s growth strategy across US Social Selling, Streaming, Digital (qvc.com and hsn.com), New Business Development, and Platform Distribution.

He will oversee a growing, multifunctional team, introduce new capabilities into the organization, and develop and execute plans to drive success and growth at QVC Group.
