Queens Center announces eight new store openings amidst renovations

New retailers to open in the shopping center include Psycho Bunny, Primark, H&M, San Wei, Burlington, Digiso, Poke Island, and Dave's Hot Chicken. Two other retailers slated to open in the upcoming year include PacSun and Dossier. For seven retailers, namely H&M, Primark, PacSun, Dossier, Psycho Bunny, San Wei, and Digiso, the store openings mark their debut in Queens. The recently signed leases highlight the resurgence of brick-and-mortar retail and demand for in-store shopping options and come as indoor mall visits in the US are on the rise once more. Indoor mall visits increased 5.5 percent in January 2025 compared to the same period a year before, with visits remaining steady in February 2025, according to data from Placer.ai. Alongside the recent retail offerings in the center, the mall is undergoing a transformation both inside and out to elevate the shopping experience. Renovations being made to Queens Center include updated lighting fixtures, fresh carpeting, and improved seating in common areas. Meanwhile, plans are underway to introduce more greenery and modernize the parking garage, adding to the center's refreshed appeal.
