PSV chrome legacy agreement enhanced – Merafe
An Upper Group 2 offtake agreement previously concluded between Lonmin and JSE-listed Merafe’s chrome pooling and sharing venture with Glencore Operations South Africa (PSV) has now been enhanced. PSV has entered into a mutually beneficial enhancement to the legacy agreement, as well as a new chrome management agreement (CMA) with Sibanye-Stillwater which acquired Lonmin in 2019, and others, for the delivery of the contracted chrome volumes, in terms of the agreement, to be accelerated.
