The Asia Green Awards, taking place for the first time this year at ProWine Hong Kong in May, is accepting entries from wine, beer and spirits companies around the world.
This year marks the 15th anniversary of The Drinks Business Green Awards. It’s been an exciting journey so far, with new categories added each year to reflect changes within sustainable drinks production, marketing, retailing and shipping.
Today, 15 years since their launch, we have as many as 13 categories in the Green Awards, covering the likes of biodiversity, renewable energy, water management, as well as the logistics, packaging, and retailing of drinks – along with our big awards, such as those for the most sustainable business, the greenest company of the year, and our Green Personality Award.
With eco-friendly drinks recognised each year at our event in London, we wanted to extend the celebrations and give more brands recognition for going green.
With that in mind, we’ve launched the Asia Green Awards in partnership with ProWine, an all-new awards ceremony to commend all things sustainability, welcoming entries from drinks companies across the globe.
The new programme is dedicated to celebrating companies and individuals in the beer, wine and spirits industries with a presence in Asia that are putting a green agenda at the heart of their business.
Everyone - from producers to logistics companies and retailers - have the chance to be recognised, and applications are open to entrants from across the world that have a presence in Asia or are looking to raise awareness for their green initiatives in Asia.
The list of awards categories include:
– Green Retailer of the Year
– Sustainability Award
– Green Company of the Year
– Ethical Award
– Green Packaging of the Year
– Logistics and Supply Chain
– Green Personality of the Year
Applications are now open and the deadline for entries is 21 April 2025.
Winners of the Asia Green Awards will be announced at this year’s ProWine Hong Kong fair (14-16 May 2025, HKCEC). Editor-in-chief Patrick Schmitt MW will be hosting the ceremony to congratulate the winners at ProWine Hong Kong on Wednesday 14 May 2025.
As a part of ProWein World, ProWine Hong Kong 2025 will be held between 14-16 May 2025 at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), in concurrent with HOFEX – Asia’s leading food & hospitality tradeshow. The friendly tax policy for international wines and spirits brands, the cultural geographical connection with Southern China and Northeast Asia, all made Hong Kong the perfect place for international wines and spirits trade.
