In article number 2405052, Ruikang Zhang, Zhenhua Li, Mingfei Shao, and co-workers first reported a photoelectrochemical strategy to achieve the selective oxidation of cyclohexanone to adipic acid using a cooperative Ni(OH)2/TiO2 photoanode with H2O as oxygen source. The new Ni2+δ─OH* reactive center was in situ generated on a Ni(OH)2/TiO2 photoanode under illumination, which significantly facilitates the activation of Cα─H and the subsequent C─C cleavage to produce adipic acid.
